摘要: We performed additional preparation on the holotype skeleton of Nqwebasaurus thwazi and discovered new skeletal material. describe this material, which includes a maxilla with small, conical, unserrated teeth bones braincase, as well parts postcranial anatomy that were previously poorly documented. incorporate anatomical information into broadly sampled matrix designed to test theropod relationships. Our phylogenetic results hypothesize is basalmost ornithomimosaur, recover numerous characters supporting relationship, including features maxilla, frontal, dentition, axial skeleton, forelimb hindlimb. first African ornithomimosaur Gondwanan member group known from articulated hypothesis coelurosaurian groups cosmopolitan during their early evolutionary history. The presence reduced dentition gastric mill in strongly suggest taxon was herbivorous.
