Efficacy and safety of multimodal analgesic techniques for preventing chronic postsurgery pain under different surgical categories: a meta-analysis.

摘要: The purpose of this meta-analysis was to compare the efficacy and safety regional anesthesia manage chronic postsurgery pain. A systematic search PubMed, EmBase, Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials performed identify randomized controlled trials that focused on pain frequency, analgesic consumption, adverse effects under different surgical categories. We collected 21 assessing 1,980 patients for our meta-analysis. summary relative risks (RRs) standard mean differences (SMDs) were calculated measure treatment effect anesthesia. Results indicated significantly reduced frequency (RR, 0.69; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.56–0.85; p < 0.001). results showed significant in overall patient satisfaction between applications with without (SMD, 1.95; 95%CI, 0.83–3.06; p = 0.001); however other results, there no two groups. Subgroup analysis suggested might differ according country. In conclusion, study effective safe reducing improved satisfaction; however, studies long-term are still required further confirm these findings.
