摘要: Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) are the three important nutrients required by any plant for healthy growth. Among these, P stands as second limiting nutrient next to nitrogen. Even though different forms of abundantly present in soil, its availability plant-utilizable form is limited. This deficiency usually compensated adding chemical fertilizers. However, fertilizers expensive not eco-friendly. Nonjudicious irregular usage a long time leads decreased soil activity microflora leading imbalance equilibrium. Usage microorganisms augment best alternative. Phosphate-solubilizing (PSMs) when applied appropriate numbers into rhizosphere help supplementing several mechanisms. In addition, few PSMs also possess added features growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) biocontrol agents conferring protection from phytopathogens. Improvement characters an advantage. Recent advances technology paved way modifying with desired qualities. spite areas this area research suffer lacunae. Efforts being made discuss all major pertaining review.
