摘要: The transport of neutral amino acids across cell membranes has been studied in great detail over the past 20 years. Oxender and Christensen (1963) originally proposed existence two distinct systems with overlapping specificity Ehrlich ascites cell. These were termed System A L. catalysed Na+-dependent accumulation short, unbranched side-chains, e.g., alanine, glycine serine. L was Na+-independent equilibration membrane branched-chain some aromatic acids. further system (System ASC) subsequently characterised which serine cysteine (Christensen et al. 1967).
