摘要: Abstract Colloidal gold nanocubes coated with a silver nanoshell have been synthesized via the seed mediated growth method. By changing volume of and nitrate, both edge length nanocube thickness shell could be fine-tuned. The surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity these core–shell structural Au–Ag bimetallic has also investigated by using rhodamine 6G (R6G) as active probe. It found SERS silver-coated greatly depends on their geometry factors. decreasing or increasing coating thickness, enhanced. comparing other bands R6G, enhancement peak corresponding to C ring in-plane vibration mode is more sensitive geometries nanostructure. These improved properties provide potential application for biologic chemical sensing based spectroanalysis.
