摘要: In developing a chemical EOR formulation, core floods are carried out to test the performance of formulation. Outcrop rocks often used, but their properties very different from reservoir rocks. The mineralogy and amount types clay present can be substantially different. Clays increase surface area rock cation exchange capacity (CEC). It is generally assumed that reservoirs with more require increasing volumes chemicals. Therefore, it important use an outcrop behaves similar obtain accurate assessment project economics. this paper sandstone were studied compared rock. Alkali surfactant consumption tests performed in these alkali increased CEC as expected, adsorption was constant for presence alkali. Without alkali, significantly found dependent on CEC.
