摘要: The representation of things and properties is a fundamental issue in conceptual modelling. Important theoretical issues surrounding the remain unresolved. For example, proponents object-role modelling argue that there should be no distinction between properties, while entity-relationship important but provide ambiguous guidelines about how made. In this paper, we use ontological theory to support our arguments represented. We describe an experiment undertook test whether ontologically sound enabled users better understand domain than two other alternative, widely used representations. Our results evidence representations
