摘要: Four research paradigms explored links from secrecy to the suppression and intrusive recurrence of secret thoughts. In Study I, keeping a word enhanced cognitive accessibility on Stroop color-naming task. 2 revealed that memory topics were recalled earlier than about which lie or truth was told. 3 showed when participants secrets, their ratings ofsuppression thinking ofthe became positively correlated. 4 rated 50 everyday for intrusiveness, suppression, secrecy. Across topics, positive mean within-subject correlations found among these variables.
