摘要: [1] We present a high-resolution record of calcium carbonate preservation alongside the distribution pattern planktic foraminifera from Fram Strait. The covers marine isotope stage (MIS) 2, 28.8 to 15.4 kyr, including Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) and early deglaciation in multidecadal temporal resolution. investigation is based on patterns foraminifera, stable isotopes, mean shell weight Neogloboquadrina pachyderma, degree fragmentation shells, CaCO3 content, geochemical sedimentological data. dissolution proxies indicate long-lasting periods markedly reduced at ~28.8–27.2, ~24.1–23.2, ~16.6–15.4 kyr addition number short-lasting (< 300 year) during LGM. These are accompanied by simultaneous significant reduction specimens subpolar indicating southward expansion Arctic surface water masses. Prolonged with high abundances foraminiferal species good attributed increased influence Atlantic masses, which appears persist throughout most MIS 2. Comparison Holocene (MIS 1) records shows that 2 was overall better, even events dissolution. This probably reflection low concentration atmospheric CO2 time.
