摘要: The aim of this study was to determine the impact specific environmental contaminants on activities antioxidant enzymes in terrestrial, free-living birds. To investigate this, several biomarkers and levels lead, mercury, arsenic were determined blood white stork (Ciconia ciconia) nestlings from two different colonies located west Spain that exposed conditions human activities. Different biomarker contaminant patterns observed between colonies, suggesting contamination. In comparison a natural reference area, three hazardous elements Pb, As, Hg significantly higher colony nearby landfill.
