摘要: Abstract In this work, we have assessed the results of local and nonlocal versions Rousselier’s damage model, which been used here for simulation ductile crack growth. There are several issues regarding accuracy has addressed in paper, e.g., path, extent width damaged region, fracture resistance behaviour situations such as symmetric vs. non-symmetric boundary-value problems, mixed-mode loading mode-I crack-tip, etc. It was also observed that shape orientation elements at addition to their size, influence model. it shown above can be resolved through use models. The predictions model consistent with experimental observations unlike its counterpart. Several examples were presented, where obtained by both models compared. From experience, is recommended should not blindly analysts all kinds mesh design, loading, boundary conditions,
