摘要: Tin slag, a waste product from tin smelting process, has potency to be utilized further by extracting the valuable metals inside, such as rare earth elements(REE). The objective of this study is determine optimum leaching condition REE slag after alkali fusion. Silica structure in causing direct uneffective. Therefore, pre-treatment step using fusion required break silica and increase porosity slag. Fusion conducted 2 hours at 700 o C, with ratio natrium hidroxide (NaOH) : = 1. Later, frit which leached water then chloride acid dissolve REE. As much 87,5% dissolved M on (HCl) concentration, 40 C temperature, -325 mesh particle size, 15g/100ml S/L, 150 rpm agitation speed, 5 minutes time.
