摘要: We present an optimization model that has been developed to address the problem of increasing share rail in intermodal transport through use hub-and-spoke type networks for freight rail. The defined is a generalization hub location it allows non-linear and concave cost functions on different segments. A linearization procedure along with two efficient variable-reduction heuristics was its resolution, making recent results polyhedral properties this class problems. Computational experience qualitative analysis from case study Alpine network provided.
