摘要: The effects of controlling minimum nocturnal ambient air temperature, day length and culture medium temperature on growth yield were studied for the purpose developing a year-round cultivation system wasabi (Eutrema japonica (Miq.) Koidz.) . When night was 5°C in winter, leaf slow but recovered when rose to 8°C. Extension by supplemental lighting found enhance recovery. Wasabi planted at different times year compare seasonal variation stem growth. mean daily maintained 13.5-28.1°C throughout year. These results revealed little difference pungency due season planting, stems grew about 60 g within two years cultivation. Year-round, stable nutrient solution under environmental control may be an economically feasible alternative conventional, labor-intensive systems.
