摘要: Nucleotide oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptors (NLRs) are a specialized group of intracellular proteins that play critical role in the regulation host innate immune response. NLRs act as scaffolding assemble signaling platforms trigger nuclear factor-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways control activation inflammatory caspases. Importantly, mutations several members NLR family have been linked to variety diseases consistent with these molecules playing an important host-pathogen interactions In this review, we focus on Nod1 Nod2 defense particular discuss recent finding regarding Nlrc4, Nlpr1, Nlrp3 inflammasomes caspase-1 subsequent release proinflammatory cytokines such interleukin-1 beta.
