摘要: The identification and analysis of ecological guilds have been fundamental to understand the processes thatdetermine structure organization communities. However, reviewing studies that tried categorizespecies into trophic we found many different criteria on which such categorizations are based; consequently, asingle species may several guild designations, limiting its accuracy applicability. In this paper proposea classification scheme for as a first step establish common terminology. For purpose weconsidered 1502 mainland birds mammals from North America (Mexico, USA, Canada).
