摘要: Background: Complete or incomplete spinal cord injury (SCI) results in varying degree of motor, sensory and autonomic impairment. Long-lasting, often irreversible disability from disconnection efferent afferent pathways. How does this affect brain function is not so clear. Changes organization structure have been associated with SCI extensively studied reviewed. Yet, our knowledge regarding connectivity changes following overall lacking. Methods: In study we conduct a systematic review articles investigations functional networks SCI, searching on PubMed, Scopus ScienceDirect according to PRISMA-P 2015 statement standards. Results: shown even during the early stages chronic condition correlate neurological Connectivity appear as dynamic post-injury procedures. Sensorimotor patients healthy individuals share similar patterns but new interactions identified unique networks. Conclusions: Large-scale, multi-modal, longitudinal studies are needed understand how network reorganization established progresses through course condition. The expected insight holds clinical relevance preventing maladaptive plasticity after individualized neurorehabilitation, well design connectivity-based brain-computer interfaces assistive technologies for patients.
