摘要: A translator for converting items of interactive program guide data to structures that are more universal handle with popular platforms, operating systems, tools, utilities and other hardware software processors resources. The invention uses C++ class objects structures. placed into a Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) “wrapper.” This allows the be handled by platform-independent interfaces so system is easily adaptable different devices functionality. Aspects include translation from custom IPG formats CORBA-wrapped objects, storage transmission among devices, entry error handling information represented objects.
