摘要: Abstract With an aim to understand the fragmentation of Usri watershed with aid open access remotely sensed data and FRAGSTATS. Long term (1976–1989–2000–2014) Landsat satellite sets have been used in this work. The post classification comparison statistics suggests transformation from dense forest agriculture class. landscape class level metrics confirmed fragmentation. PCA analysis has produced two principal components (PC) explained 94.8% total variance, first component (PC1) accounted for 50.0% variance while second (PC2) 44.8% calculated core area metrics, distance shape metrics. Results show notable changes occured area, evidencing requirement taking appropriate measures conserve natural watershed. Monitoring especially quantifying, impact human activities on our landscapes may also facilitate design efficient assessable resources, policies risk assessment studies.
