摘要: In the past several years, active travel (walking and cycling) has increasingly been recognized as an effective means of improving public health by increasing physical activity avoiding negative externalities motorized transport. The impacts increased on mortality morbidity rates have quantified through a range methodologies. this study, existing publications in field research reviewed to compare contrast methodologies adapted identify key considerations best practices. were classified terms summary outcomes exposure variables considered, model structures used studies impact these choices results. Increased was identified most important determinant but different ways quantifying can lead substantial differences scale impact. Further is required into relationship between effects order reach consensus reliable modelling approach for benefits. Critical discussions other also provided ascertain Additionally, logical flow processes (and their variations) illustrated which be followed developing future travel.
