摘要: A novel application of the transient hot-wire technique for measurements thermal conductivity solids up to 590 K is described. The method makes use a soft silicone material between hot wires and solid interest. Measurement temperature rise in response electrical step heating over period 20 μs s allows an absolute determination solid, as well paste. based on full theoretical model with equations solved by finite-element applied exact geometry. Two sets thermal-conductivity K, employing different pastes samples Pyroceram 9606, are reported. At 95% confidence level, standard deviation less than 1.5%.
