摘要: In this work, Yb:YAG transparent ceramics were prepared through aqueous gel-casting forming technique. Single-phase nanopowders with mean particle size of 170 nm used to prepare slurries. The rheological properties slurries investigated as a function pH value and the dispersant content. It was found that maximum zeta potential achieved at pH = 11.5 2 wt% content (based on weight powders). And then, stable different solid loading (30–40 vol%) by ball milling casted form green bodies. influence microstructure bodies investigated. result showed body 38 vol% had no deformation exhibited homogeneous compact relative density 56.3 %. Finally, high optical quality ceramic obtained in-line transmittance 81.2 % (1 mm thick). Highly technique starting from raw materials single-phase nanopowders.
