摘要: A short overview is presented of seismicity in Poland, based on historical data and, since the 1980s, instrumental records. As a level low, most country no earthquakes have been recorded instrumentally, extremely poorly recognized. There are areas known historically from occurrence Io = 6–7 but these single events, never ever repeated there before and afterwards. This concerns mainly Sudetic Foreland (Paleozoic Platform), wide Teisseyre-Tornquist Zone Precambrian Platform. The seismically active best recognized Poland Western Carpathians, along Pieniny Klippen Belt, especially Orawa-Nowy Targ Basin, where continuing tectonic activity has confirmed by carried out August, 2008 seismic monitoring. catalogue earthquake years 1496–2014, updated supplemented foreshocks aftershocks, presented.
