摘要: This research study represents a key part of the program Statewide Public Library Development Projects delivered by State Victoria between 2011 and 2014 in partnership with Libraries Network (PLVN), peak body for Victoria’s 47 public library services. The overarching objectives this project were: - to develop framework articulate core competencies required workforce 21st century - conduct skills audit Victorian staff order collect evidence current anticipate future requirements - deliver report that analyses findings makes recommendations on training needs strategies prepare delivery services Victoria. The built 2008 Workforce sustainability leadership: Survey, analysis planning, developed PLVN, which three types workplace were delineated: cognitive (or Foundation), technical Professional) Behavioural skills. Following industry discussion review, comprising 59 skill-sets within distinct areas was finalised October 2013. audit, comprised an Individual survey Management questionnaires directly based framework, undertaken late November December presents interpretation data collected through two surveys.
