摘要: The long-term effects on offspring of abnormal glucose tolerance detected during pregnancy were examined in 552 Pima Indian 5-24 yr age. Fasting hyperinsulinemia, presumably reflecting increased insulin resistance, occurred at an earlier age the women who had pregnancy, and these more obese higher rates tolerance. When confounding factors controlled, a 1 mM 2-h postload concentration resulted significantly prevalence diabetes (odds ratio = 162). Maternal was also significant predictor (P 0.011). Thus, metabolic abnormalities associated with diabetic result offspring, including obesity, diabetes, which turn may contribute to transmission risk for developing same problems next generation.
