摘要: We have reduced and analyzed a set of narrow-band HST images portion M42 south the Trapezium. Many new emission-line sources were found, some quite long but so narrow that they are not seen on ground-based images. These include thin shells which high-ionization shocks. The structure around Orion HH 3 is resolved into multiple components. Slit spectroscopy data establish high expansion velocities all these regions. other objects compact sources. Although had been detected in VLA surveys several from ground optically, show previously undetected clearly most protoplanetary disks, neutral disks surrounding low-mass pre-main-sequence stars ionized outside by Theta sup 1 C 2 A Ori.
