摘要: Polyol polyesters having reduced color content are prepared by base-catalyzed transesterification of lower (i.e., C₁-C₃) alkyl fatty esters a carbonyl less than about 200 ppm with polyols. The can be pretreatment com­prising distilling the said (in liquid state), preferably base, and discarding both top cut in an amount that is 5% or at least 2% still bottoms.
