摘要: The comb, as a secondary sexual character, is an important trait in chicken. Indicators of comb length (CL), height (CH), and weight (CW) are often selected production. DNA-based marker-assisted selection could help chicken breeders to accelerate genetic improvement for or related economic characters by early selection. Although number quantitative loci (QTL) candidate genes have been identified with advances molecular genetics, underlying traits limited. aim the study was use genome-wide association (GWA) studies 600 K Affymetrix SNP arrays detect that using F2 resource population. For all characters, exhibited high SNP-based heritability estimates (0.61–0.69). Chromosome 1 explained 20.80% variance, while chromosome 4 6.89%. Independent univariate screens each character 127, 197, 268 novel significant SNPs CL, CH, CW, respectively. Three genes, VPS36, AR, WNT11B, were determined plausible function characters. These initiation follicle development, gonadal growth, dermal current provides first GWA analysis traits. Identification basis well promising will us understand architecture development has practical significance breeding programs index maturity reproduction.
