摘要: Besides the high prevalence of cardiac diseases in patients with acromegaly, it is currently discussed whether these may have an increased risk cancer, e.g. thyroid malignancies. High serum levels IGF-1 and GH as well auto-/paracrine secretion seem to be predominant factors complications. Consequently, 80% acromegaly goiter 60% nodules. While positive effects on proliferation are known, role tumorigenesis not clear. To examine impact excess tumorigenesis, we studied expression receptor (IGF-1R) (GHR) 60 adenomas follicular (FTC) papillary (PTC) carcinomas (45 non-oxyphilic 26 oxyphilic FTCs, 25 classical, 35 tall cell PTCs). Expression was compared that tissues acromegalic (3 goitres, 1 tissue PTC adenoma). GHR predominantly moderate all tissues. In goitres very weak while adenoma moderate. IGF-1R varied between tumor types: FTCs were stained average, staining significantly enhanced. classical PTCs (12/25 13/35 no, 9/25 19/35 weak, 3/25 2/35 moderate, 1/25 1/35 strong staining) stronger (4/26 7/26 6/26 9/26 staining). Goitre weakly for IGF-1R. Interestingly, (classical subtype) patient IGF-1R, weak. These results reflect importance activated hints a possible mechanism patients. Further cases tumors strengthen first results.
