摘要: Lipidomics, a rapidly developing research field, has been widely studied in many non-cancer areas, and some cancers. Taking prostate cancer as an example, this article concisely reviewed applications of lipidomics cancer research. Lipidomics is able to identify few out thousands individual lipid species bio-fluids biomarkers in diagnosis with high sensitivity, specificity accuracy. This technology also used studying the pathogenesis by combining data profiling metabolites pathways strategy. Importantly, can provide details compositions different between benign prostate, which will greatly help make strategy prevention treatment cancer.
