摘要: What is the relationship between attention and unilateral neglect? In this article we review three theories that have been advanced to explain neurological syndrome, discuss their limitations, advance an alternative hypothesis. The are: hemispheric hypoarousal hypothesis (Heilman & Watson, 1977), of attentional master center (see De Renzi, 1982) a cortical circuit for directing (Mesulam, 1981). analysis these shows none them able accomodate basic findings: a) multiplicity brain centers whose lesion produces neglect; b) congruence motor deficits after centers; c) anatomical independence damage causes neglect. A model spatial proposed based on series circuits largely independent one from another formed by which program plans in framework. This conception radically different single because it conceives not as supraordinate function controlling activity whole, but property intrinsically linked premotor distributed among various cerebral centers. other words, vertical modular present several circuits.
