摘要: Four beam-interior column Units were designed, constructed and tested subjected to simulated earthquake gravity loading. One Unit followed the requirements of New Zealand concrete design code NZS 3101:1982 for structures designed ductility. The other three only partly 3101, in order obtain information on behaviour beam-column joints limited Plastic hinging was occur beams. major test variables quantity horizontal vertical shear reinforcement joint cores diameter beam longitudinal reinforcing bars passing through cores. results indicted that current 3101 detailing bond core regions ductile reinforced frames could be relaxed.
