摘要: In this paper, we focus on increasing the spectrum awareness of cognitive radio users through statistical processing sensing data, obtained via wideband energy-detection-based techniques. Based observations over real power measurements, advocate existence correlation properties in sensed measured neighboring channels and propose an inference methodology for exploiting them towards acquiring a more accurate view underlying wireless environment. To highlight benefits proposed correlation-based systems, emphasize enhancements white space discovery channel selection processes, while thoroughly discuss impact our findings existing relevant approaches. systematic survey metropolitan area Athens, Greece, validate assess achieved performance improvements measurement confirming its potential value future networks.
