摘要: The recoveries of substance P (SP) and five related peptides were evaluated on different types solid-phase extraction sorbent. Best results obtained by use a C18 silica gel cartridge. Marked differences yields occurred for the peptide fragments and, in general, recovery increased with increasing hydrophobicity when reversed-phase materials like C8 cartridges used. This observation is indicative sorption-desorption mechanism prevailing solvophobic interactions. A similar trend was found phenylpropyl (CPhenyl), generally known as adsorbent lower hydrophobicity, It concluded that substantial participation analyte-matrix pi-pi interactions has to be taken into account are compared corresponding values With CN cartridges, marked acetonitrile or methanol organic modifier. As an attempt explain this observation, conformational effects assumed behaviour polar matrix.
