摘要: Online games have been played mainly over wired networks due to high speed links and capable desktop computers. The advances in mobile devices ever increasing wireless link bandwidth motivate us study whether players can enjoy online gaming broadband such as WiMAX networks. In this paper we carry out the World of Warcraft (WoW) measurements via analysis performance. We focus on two aspects: (1) application level packet dynamics RTT jitter; (2) statistics quality handovers. measure various scenarios for comprehensive WoW traffic link-layer characteristics. Finally discuss how improve service gaming.
