摘要: A group of 117 children who met criteria for Specific Language Impairment (SLI) at 7 years age were reassessed 11 age. The data gathered from both stages used to identify predictors good and poor outcome earlier test assessments. Results logistic regressions indicated that measures narrative retelling skills expressive syntax the strongest overall prognosis. This finding persisted when a nonverbal measure was included as predictor alongside language in regression model. There found be lack independent predictive contribution early articulation later Demographic factors (maternal education family income) not differently distributed across groups. theoretical practical implications findings are discussed.
