摘要: Abstract Quantitative relationships describing the influence of volume change on kinetics constant-pressure, isothermal reactions in porous catalysts have been obtained. The results are valid for gas-phase ordinary diffusion regime. Volume-change effectiveness factors were shown to be functions only diffusional-kinetic modulus and a newly defined volume-change modulus. Asymptotic solutions, developed zero, first, second order reactions, yielded basic theoretical maximum effect change, independent particle shape. Effectiveness as function presented spherical catalyst particles.
