摘要: Frequency mixing effects introduced by the photodetectors in optical fibre interferometer systems have been examined experimentally. Thin film PVF2 strips attached to single-mode-fibre arms served as voltage-driven phase modulators. These effects, while possibly limiting dynamic range of sensor systems, may be used for frequency multiplexing.
