摘要: A posted-write queuing program for writing information sectors to disk includes error-handling routines minimize the risk of data loss upon specified types errors. Upon timeouts, is suspended and all pending in queue are written out corresponding sectors. write errors, discontinued repeated attempts made For each unsuccessful attempt, sector saved queue; user alerted, subsequent read or requests directed serviced from queue.
