摘要: The invention provides a multichannel electrode (“MC electrode”) which can perform multiple functions such as recording, stimulating and lesioning simultaneously or sequentially upon single insertion into target site. In one aspect, the MC further imaging drug delivery capabilities. also interface connectors for connecting to external units data acquisition and/or stimulation systems. Although associated system(s) provide an optimal way deep brain surgical procedures, are useful generally in any technique relies on activating, inhibiting electrical signals produced by cells.
