摘要: A seismic design procedure is developed to enable concrete buildings be designed achieve a specified acceptable level of damage under the earthquake. The limit defined as displacement profile related material strains or code drift limits. In this procedure, elastic properties, including initial stiffness, strength and period, are end product rather than starting point. It shown that simple apply, results in significant differences from more conventional force-based procedure. Designs for multi-storey frame wall presented, target displacements compared with inelastic time-history analysis.
