摘要: At the heart of frenetic activity record industry and all conflictin opinion to which this gives rise, lies a common goal: popular success. This also provides key paradoxes one encounters when studies economic aspects in France. What does achievement success involve actual fact ? Economic, sociological musicological analyses tend evade issue rather than explain it. Can ability achieve be attributed more or less innate sixth sense Does it reside superiority smaller producers over larger ones Is achieved through bribery, massive 'plugging', dulling senses conformism, as ritual claims press would have by-product profit, standardisation, alienation prevailing ideology, marxists argue The sociology mass media culture explains an equally wide variety ways (...).
