摘要: Aspergillus section Nidulantes includes species with striking morphological characters, such as biseriate conidiophores brown-pigmented stipes, and if present, the production of ascomata embedded in masses Hulle cells often reddish brown ascospores. The majority this have a sexual state, which were named Emericella dual name nomenclature system. In present study, strains belonging to subgenus subjected multilocus molecular phylogenetic analyses using internal transcribed spacer region (ITS), partial β-tubulin (BenA), calmodulin (CaM) RNA polymerase II second largest subunit (RPB2) sequences. Nine sections are accepted including new Cavernicolus. A polyphasic approach extrolites, physiological characters phylogeny was applied investigate taxonomy Nidulantes. Based on approach, is subdivided seven clades 65 species, 10 described here new. Morphological colour, shape, size, ornamentation ascospores, shape size conidia vesicles, growth temperatures important for identifying species. Many produce carcinogenic mycotoxin sterigmatocystin. most mycotoxins aflatoxins, sterigmatocystin, emestrin, fumitremorgins, asteltoxins, paxillin while other extrolites useful drugs or drug lead candidates echinocandins, mulundocandins, calbistrins, varitriols, variecolins terrain. Aflatoxin B1 produced by four species: A. astellatus, miraensis, olivicola, venezuelensis.
