摘要: Abstract Seasonality is one of the most problematic but least understood aspects tourism. Many destinations are suffering from this phenomenon every year, yet limited efforts have been made to overcome troublesome issue. This research proposed an approach obtaining quantitative solutions which can ultimately assist marketers in mitigating seasonal effects. The study applied financial portfolio theory, widely used securities allocation decisions. While determining segment mix seasonality and describing Seasonal Demand Efficient Frontier, paper suggests that should select a tourism segments fall along Frontier given demand–risk target.
