摘要: Abstract Development of a polar magnetic substorm and the main phase storm is compared with variation in interplanetary space. It confirmed, using AE indices, that well correlated southward component, Bzs, field. The hourly-value shows highest correlation preceding hour. also found ground data twin-vortex current system without enhancement auroral zone current, called DP 2 or SP, develops south ward changes field before expansion substorm. In cases storms following ssc's, caused by shock waves, developments Dst are to be highly Bzs. When Bzs small for about one day after no appreciable geomagnetic activity follows ssc even where increase kinetic energy flux solar wind fairly large. large storms, usually observed during several hours more within ssc, accompanying development disturbances.
