摘要: Abstract Stress is implicated in the etiology of major depressive disorder (MDD) and leads to activation proinflammatory pathways, which are recognized induce symptoms. For instance, depression commonly observed patients with hepatitis C cancer under IFN therapy, high levels inflammatory cytokines described serum individuals MDD – indicate a multi-system aspect psychiatric disorders. Thus, we evaluated effects two-hit model on peripheral CNS inflammatory, neurotrophic, oxidative stress parameters behavior. Male Wistar rats were submitted lipopolysaccharide (LPS) injections, followed by chronic unpredictable mild (CUMS) protocol. Rats exposed CUMS (CUMS + groups) exhibited reduced body weight, sucrose consumption preference as well an increased score coat state locomotor Interestingly, higher IFNγ LPS/CUMS + group, further correlated consumption. Hypertrophy adrenal gland was also CUMS+, splenic hypertrophy exclusive LPS-injected animals. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) decreased CUMS + animals, while no differences found hippocampus lipid peroxidation levels. Besides corroborating effectiveness inducing depressive-like behavior, our findings suggest that combination different etiological pathophysiological components may provide more translational approach. Also, correlation anhedonic-like phenotype reinforce contemporary concept disorders being considered diseases.
