摘要: A growing body of research indicates that sleep disturbances are associated with suicidal ideation and behaviors. This article (1) provides a critical review the extant literature on suicidality (2) addresses shared underlying neurobiological factors, biological social zeitgebers, treatment implications, future directions for research. Findings indicate behaviors closely complaints, in some cases, this association exists above beyond depression. Several cross-sectional investigations unique between nightmares ideation, whereas relationship insomnia requires further study. Underlying factors may, part, account suicide.
