摘要: Diet is estimated to contribute about one-third of preventable cancers -- the same amount as smoking. Inadequate intake essential vitamins and minerals might explain epidemiological findings that people who eat only small amounts fruits vegetables have an increased risk developing cancer. Recent experimental evidence indicates vitamin mineral deficiencies can lead DNA damage. Optimizing by encouraging dietary change, multivitamin supplements, fortifying foods therefore prevent cancer other chronic diseases.
