Domestic Violence During Pregnancy in an Eastern City of Turkey A Field Study

摘要: Violence is an increasing and important community health problem that can be seen in any area of human life. Limited studies were found about domestic violence among pregnant women its relation with social status women. The aim this study was to determine the prevalence types during pregnancy, factors affecting it, women's thoughts violence, between violence. This cross-sectional conducted on 253 women, using cluster simple random sampling methods. Chi-square test logistic regression analysis methods used analyze data. Women who indicated they have been exposed at some point their lives 24.1% continued while 11.1%. Physical most common type reported (18.2%). It had primary school or lower level education made unwanted marriage suffered from more pregnancy. said against still a problem. In societies where gender roles are dominant, decision makers take necessary steps such as supporting girls improve awareness regard personal rights legal regulations which will contribute solution issue.
