摘要: Abstract The effects of low frequency electromagnetic field on the sump depth and temperature a molten aluminum alloy (Al–Zn–Mg–Cu) were investigated by measurement method. results showed that during casting (LFEC) process whole melt in hot top is very uniform, about 6 °C lower than liquidus temperature, which helpful to obtain uniform fine microstructures. It was considered LFEC like kind or near semi-continuous casting. also found shallower conventional direct chill (DC) process.
